The supplies that were traditionally needed were a bucket, water and a sponge and on occasions a chamois. Those items will still be needed, but there is much more the modern day professional window cleaner will need.
Water
Today ordinary tap water will not suffice. Professional window cleaners will use purified water and will need to ensure they have a constant supply to hand. This water will give the windows are better clean and finish.
Detergent

Scrapers, scrims and clothes
